Panama, Nov 16 (EFE) .- Lighting technologies and energy efficiency will be addressed at an international fair in Panama, which will bring together experts and companies dedicated to the sector of lighting in the region.

Due to the high regional demand for lighting products and a trend towards quality and efficiency, representatives have chosen to discuss issues related to improve the market prospects, informed Efe, América Expo Group (AEG), organizer of the Interlumi Panamá 2018.

The third edition of the commercial event, a be held from 11 to 13 July next at the Atlapa Convention Center, will alternate the Efficient Lighting Forum - Central America, with topics such as: Design, Control Systems, Urban Lighting and Renewable Energies.

The InterLumi Panama international meeting is a tool to promote the emerging sector of the lighting in the region, having industry professionals, whose experience is focused on the new LED light technologies and the management of energy systems renewable.

According to the US consultancy Transparent Market Research (TMR, by its acronym in English), the market for low-energy bulbs in the region could to reach 3,552.4 million dollars in 2018, with an annual increase of 23.2% between 2012 and 2018.

While the estimates for 2020 of the total lighting market in Latin America, plans to reach 6.623 million dollars.

To strengthen the meeting, associations from Latin America such as the Argentine Chamber of Electronic Industries will be called, Electromechanical and Luminotechnical (CADIEEL), the Argentine Association of Lighting Technology (AADL), the Argentine Wind Energy Association (AAEE), the Guatemalan Lighting Association (AGI), the Chamber of Industries of Guatemala (CIG), the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica (CRECEX) and the Panamanian Chamber of Solar Energy.

InterLumi Panama will include a broad spectrum of products such as commercial lights, emergency lights, lights and decorative lamps, residential and professional, and special application.
