Most Latin American exchanges closed their day in red, on a day when Wall Street did not operate for the celebration of Thanksgiving in the US.

Bogotá, Nov 23 (EFE) .- Most of the Latin American stock exchanges closed their day in red, on a day when Wall Street did not operate for the celebration of Thanksgiving in US

Markets on the other side of the Atlantic closed on mixed terrain, Frankfurt Place fell 0.05%, the Milan stock market rose 0.37%, the London stock fell %, the Spanish wheel closed with a rise of 0.19% and the Paris market finished with a rise of 0.50%.

The Brent oil barrel, a reference in Europe, closed in the futures of London at 63.42 dollars, 0.20% more than at the end of the previous session.

Thus the stock markets in Latin America remained on the drop except for Lima and Montevideo that There were slight rises.

The Sao Paulo market fell by a slight 0.04% and its Ibovespa index, benchmark of the parquet, closed at 74,486 points in a session with a turnover for 4,221 million reais (about 1,310 million dollars).

The main indicator of the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), the Price and Quotation Index (IPC), fell by 0.13% and ended at 48,136.24 units, after totaling 2,451 million Mexican pesos (131.3 million dollars).

The Merval index of the shares of the leading companies listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange closed with a decline of 0.13%, to 27,293.31 whole, after an exchange of shares for 312.65 million Argentine pesos (17.97 million dollars).

Plaza de Santiago lost 1.84% in its main index, the IPSA, which closed at 5,034.33 points, after making transactions for 67,689,867,956 Chilean pesos (about 106, million dollars).

Colombia's parquet floor fell by 0.04% in its capitalization index (Colcap), which closed at 1,450.92 units, after negotiating papers for 47,486.39 million of Colombian pesos (about 15.9 million dollars).

On the earnings side, the S & P / BVL Peru General Index reached 19,932.43 points after recording a rise of 0.23 percent, a session in which papers were exchanged for 71,289,142 soles (equivalent to 22,002,822 dollars).

The Montevideo Stock Exchange (BVMBG) advanced by 0.009% and stood at 115.9 whole, after an exchange of papers for 5,638,144 Uruguayan pesos (192,249 dollars).
