The report also revealed that private transport represents 93% of the city's vehicle fleet, with 1,616,859 vehicles and 469,559 motorcycles in 2016.

On the massive transport of Bogotá, Transmilenio, the report said that in the last decade it has mobilized 5,278 million passengers on articulated buses and 2,461 millions of travelers on the shuttle buses to the system.

Among the recommendations, the study notes that "it should remain a priority at Transmilenio to improve the factors that directly influence the quality of service, such as vehicle occupancy rates, safety and frequency of buses. "

While to encourage the use of non-motorized transport is proposed to "advance the construction of high-capacity cycle-infrastructures given the high volume of bicyclists and the increase in travel" and that implement the public bicycle system.
