Panama, Oct 29 (EFE) .- Four companies dedicated to the sale of motorcycles, accessories and cargo and logistics services of the Panamanian Free Zone of Colon (ZLC), the largest in the hemisphere, will participate in the International Fair of Havana (Fihav) 2017 that starts Monday in Cuba. p>
A statement from the ZLC informed today that companies that will participate in the Cuban fair, which will run through Nov. 3, are Unison International SA, Global Bike Group Corp. under the trademark Mishozuki Motos, Importer Zone Free, and Alyan International S.A. P>
"We are returning with great enthusiasm to Fihav to offer the excellent range of products and services of Zona Libre, more with the good previous experience, in which our companies closed sales for more than 1 million dollars, "said ZLC manager Manuel Grimaldo. p>
According to official Cuban data cited by the Panamanian authorities, the Havana Fair will host about 3,000 exhibitors, some 37 delegations from Cuba's trading partner countries, and 50 chambers and institutions promoting international trade. p>
"This trade show event is the most important commercial showcase of Cuba and the Caribbean, and one of the most representative in Latin America, "said Grimaldo, according to the statement. p>
Statistics Panamanians indicate that trade between Cuba and the FTA reached $ 257.68 million in 2016, of which $ 998,233 corresponded to Cuban imports. p>
At the end of the first half of this year, the FTA's re-exports to Cuba totaled US $ 135.7 million, while imports totaled US $ 684,000, the official communiqué.
