Mexican deputies approve 2018 budget and turn it over to the Executive

It was approved "in general and in particular (...) and sent to the Federal Executive for publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation", indicated the parliamentary body in a bulletin.

The document contemplates a total expenditure of 5.279 billion pesos (about 276.532 million dollars) and was guaranteed after more than 10 hours of debate.

There was the participation of 18 speakers in general, 76 in particular, for a total of 94 legislators using the rostrum and 28 who declined their intervention.

The president of the Board of Directors, Jorge Carlos Ramírez Marín, of the ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), approved the Budget of Expenditures of the Federation with the acceptance of two errata, which have already been corrected.

Last 8 September the Executive presented its budget proposal, in which it announced a 2.8% cut in the spending of the dependencies federal funds within the 5.2 billion pesos (295,842 million dollars) planned for next year.

The Federation Expenditure Budget for 2017 included an expenditure public of 4.89 trillion pesos (about 256.155 million dollars).
